Job Description:
- 8 + years of overall experience in the industry with at least 5 + years of experience in Project/Program Management
- BE, MCA in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline from a reputed college or university
- Writes functional requirements for data warehouse reporting projects related to orders, customer and product subject areas.
- Ensures project management process.
- Coordinates and integrates with all projects of the program to contribute to successful program delivery.
- Provides a high level of communication on the project to all stakeholders and senior management, as outlined in the program’s Communication Plan. Facilitates communication between IT departments and functional groups.
- Ensures assigned projects follow Horizon process with a high level of quality, and with specific focus on:
- Ensuring the Scope Change Management Process is followed. Ensure all changes are identified, validated and estimated. Communicates impact of changes, obtains Steering Committee approval on all changes, and presents approved Change Requests to the Program Owner for review and re-baselining.
- Ensuring the Issues Management Process is followed. Owns the Issues Log, communicates high impact risks to the stakeholders, and escalates issues to senior management when appropriate.
- Responsible for work performance of team members assigned to the projects and provides performance feedback to the Sr. Manager. Provides coaching and barrier removal as needed.
- Ensures project delivery meets requirements of approved scope, schedule and cost.
- Consults with business on low to moderately complex business needs
- Evaluates requirements and creates detailed business requirements and technical specifications. Analyzes impact to other reports and processes.
- Solves moderately complex business and system issues
- Executes basic test plans and authors estimations
- Conducts meetings with business, IT department and/or MIS team.
